BEST PLACES IN ROCKINGHAM FOR PHOTOGRAPHING YOUR PET
Here are some of my favourite locations in Rockingham for photo or portrait shoots:
Dog Park Portrait Sessions in Rockingham
Rockingham is a very dog-friendly community, with lots of spaces where you can take your dog on a leash, as in most public places in WA, but there always options when doing photo sessions in outings, and we can make it work to get gorgeous pictures of your dog in any dog-friendly location you choose even if it's an on-leash area.
If you don’t like the idea of an on-lead portrait session there’s an alternative (and there will be more in the near future).
In the last couple years, the community in Rockingham has noticed that, even while having plenty of on-leash dog exercise areas, it’s also important to create a secure environment where dogs can socialise and play without having to be on the leash.
Because of this, the City is starting to establish off-leash dog-friendly fenced parks. In 2017 there was one park already fenced, the Bayview reserve enclosed dog area and there are three other areas that are being planned to be fenced by 2020.
This park has everything you need to get a gorgeous portrait session; fun for your pet, plenty of space, fountains, lots of grass and even some dog park equipment for your four legged friend to play on and enjoy while we take beautiful photos of her.
Dog friendly beaches in Rockingham
Many beaches in Rockingham are dog-friendly, plus a great location to take lovely pictures of your dog being happy between the sand and the sun, or maybe even in the water! I can suggest a couple of great beaches where you can take your dog for her photo shoot.
Rockingham beach
To me, this a charming beach, it’s always clean and well-maintained, it’s also fairly quiet, and has safe and shallow waters, with many things to do and amazing sunsets, Rockingham Beach is one of the greatest locations where you can take your pet for her photo session, especially with some of the interesting industrial settings in the area.
It has a stretch of beautiful golden sand, and lots of grassy areas, in here there’s a chance that dolphins will get close enough to be photographed in the background of your pet’s portraits.
Warnbro Beach
Warnbro has one of the best dog-friendly beaches in Rockingham, and it’s a less crowded option for shy dogs to go without having to worry too much about having to interact with other dogs, or get too distracted while the portrait shoot takes place. The fairly calm waters of Warnbro beach also create a safe environment to photograph your pet.
